The Hub
Here you’ll find up-to-date information about all the groups we regularly offer in the Hub, additional one-off events, and helpful local contact information.
We’d love to hear from you if you’ve got ideas about anything else we could offer to support the local community. You are very welcome to pop in, phone or send an email if you can’t find what you’re looking for, our contact details are below the following guide. Our volunteers and Jen, our Hub Coordinator, are on hand to help. We’d love to hear from you!

You can download your own copy here: WHAT’S ON IN THE HUB April – June 26 or collect a paper copy from our centre. For further information about any of the groups or events taking place at The Hub, please email [email protected] or call the Hub reception team on 0151 428 6810.
Community Support
To find out what we offer and for signposting to local help and services for yourself or someone else, please contact Jen Radford and the Hub reception team on 0151 428 6810, or email [email protected] or [email protected]. If the request is urgent, please leave a message, and you will be contacted. Thank you.
Hub Volunteers
These wonderful people generously share their time to welcome the community, run our activities, maintain the standard of our facilities or support St Peter’s administration and communications. Volunteers are supported by our Coordinator, receive on-the-job training, a Bi-Monthly email, invitations to our volunteer celebrations, and access to our WhatsApp group. Jen Radford would love to hear from you about anything related to volunteering. You can email [email protected].
The Hub is currently seeking a volunteer on Fridays, 11am–1pm to serve on reception and be hospitable to everyone in and out of the Simon Peter Centre. You are invited to apply to serve either every week, or school term-time only or even fortnightly as we may be able to pair you up with someone else. There’s a role description pinned to the wall at the back of church for you to look at. Please email Jen Radford on [email protected] for a copy of this, for more information and/or for a volunteer application form.
