Prayer
“Prayer is me being me in the presence of God being God” Tom Wright
Prayer is a top priority for us at St Peter’s Church and we’d love to support you in this. We’d also like to invite you to join in with our prayers for our Church, the Parish, our community and beyond. Following are a number of ways you can do this.
St. Peter’s Prayer Meeting dates for January – March 2023:
We live in stressful and worrying times, but we are reminded in St. Paul’s Letter to the Philippians: “Do not worry about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God”.
As we start this new year, why not make one of your new year resolutions to be more prayerful and to join with fellow Christians in prayer.
Our prayer meetings for the next few months will take place at 9am in the Simon Peter Centre on the following dates:
21st January
4th and 18th February
4th and 18th March
During our services we regularly pray for those who are sick and bereaved. A list of those to pray for is also included on the notice sheet.
To be added to the e-notice sheet Mailing, please e-mail [email protected]
Midweek opportunities to pray with others include Lyfe, Hub prayer and Hubbub which you can find further details of in the Hub section of our website.
