Write for rights today

Every year as a church we support the Amnesty International Write for Rights campaign. After the services on Sunday 19 and 26 November we wrote cards of support to people suffering human rights abuses.

You are able to write your own letter or card, leave a message on their Amnesty page or sign an online petition. It may only take you a few moments, but could make all the difference to someone who is wrongly imprisoned.

Presidents, police chiefs and prison governors do take note when they receive hundreds of appeals to release a prisoner, stop the harassment of an activist or change an unjust law.

Use your freedom of expression to stand up for the freedom of others.
