St Peter’s Minnows nominated for a BBC Radio Merseyside Make a Difference Award 2026

Fantastic news last week that St Peter’s Minnows Playgroup have been nominated for a BBC Radio Merseyside Make a Difference award 2026 Congratulations to everyone involved! The awards recognise individuals and groups who make life better for people in our communities.

Our mystery nominator wrote: “I am nominating Minnows playgroup because they are not just a playgroup. They are a community, a family, a safe place, a respite, a hot drink and friendly face for all parents, grandparents and carers who walk through their doors! From the warm welcome they give you in session, to the thoughtfulness of messaging to check on you if you appear off or quiet during the session … they all deserve acknowledgement and I know I wouldn’t be the only person to think so.”
