The work of Encontro com Deus in Brazil The trauma of not being brought up by your own mother is something that no amount of toys, clothes, or food can substitute. A child without its own mum grows with enormous difficulties and without hope. At least 90% of “orphans” in Brazil are in fact children victims of abuse or of extreme poverty. The traditional response has been to remove the child from risk by separating them from their parents and housing them in orphanages. Secondary School Application Forms
If you require Kip to sign your child’s secondary school application form for September 2017 he has made two times available for over this summer: Tuesday 26th July 7-9 pm Tuesday 30th August 6-8 pm In church. No appointment necessary, just come along. NB. This is just for secondary school forms. He will be signing primary school forms at a later date.

Week of Prayer 2016: Archived
Drop in to the prayer room at St Marks, Childwall – the team there have done a fab job to help us all to pray for ourselves, our friends, family, communities, city, nation…Open every day this week: Monday 9th May to Friday 13th May 9am – 9pm. Suitable for children too. Drop in when you can or sign up in advance. There is plenty of space so don’t worry if there are already names in the space you want. Just add your name to the slot. This prayer week is part of the Archbishop’s and Bishop Paul’s call to prayer in the week leading up to Pentecost.
