Studying the Bible is one way to get to know God better. If you feel you would like to learn more about this amazing book in an informal way, you are more than welcome to join one of our growing number of Bible study Groups. No previous knowledge or experience is required! We meet once a week for approximately 10 weeks in one session. Groups are available on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings and comprise of between 10 and 15 people.
We meet in different houses around the parish and use prepared study guides to help us as we discuss the relevance of the Bible in our every day lives. Recent topics covered include ‘The Sermon on the Mount’, ‘The Tabernacle’, 'the Acts of the Apostles’ and ‘the Christian Community’.
All ages are welcome and transport can be arranged if needed. If you are new to the area or to St. Peter’s being part of a small group is a great way to get to know people and learn more about being a Christian in today’s world. |
