What is Minnows?
Minnows is a group for parents with babies and pre-school children and is part of St Peter's Church.
We meet on Mondays and Thursdays from 1.30pm to 3pm in St Peter's Church Hall (behind the Simon Peter Centre) on Church Road.
As a Christian organisation, we hope to give children an early understanding of the love of God.
We aim to provide a safe and happy environment where children can play (under the supervision of their parent or carer) and parents can mix and meet new friends.



What do we do at Minnows?
The session begins at 1.30pm when we have an informal registration. We make a charge of £1 per family towards refreshments and craft materials.
From 1.30pm to 2.20pm the children play freely and adults can chat. Then we all clear away the toys and sit on the carpet for story time.
We sing songs and have a story with Christian content and a prayer.
Story time is followed by a craft activity, which may be messy, so please don't bring your children in their best clothes!
We have tea, juice and biscuits together and a little time to tidy up before we finish at 3pm.
