For the first time for many years the Church Hall was used to host a wedding reception this weekend. Undaunted by the challenges of preparing the Hall for such an event the couple, Andrew and Susannah,  with the help many friends transformed the Hall into a bright, friendly and welcoming venue for over 100 guests. Following their marriage earlier in the afternoon at Bluecoat School Chapel Andy and Susie arrived at the Hall to enjoy a wonderful evening. This was a really special occasion (marred only by the fact that I never took a photo of the couple in the Hall!) and hopefully St Peter’s can host similar events in the future.
